technopolymer: a high-performance plastic material used instead of metals. It is lightweight and impact resistant. To manufacture trolley parts from technopolymer, we create a mold for each part, in order to avoid joints and facilitate cleaning operations. The best example? Our innovative Easy Click system;
painted steel: it combines aesthetics and durability. The epoxy-painting procedure gives great freedom of color choice, and it also protects the material from wear and tear. It can adapt to hospital interiors with great style;
aluminium: the best choice for lightness and resistance, even to natural rust. Trolleys by CFS Italia have a structure totally made of aluminium compared to other models that have only the 4 uprights made of this material;
baydur: a plastic material with less versatility compared to steel, but more high-quality compared to technopolymer. It is chosen for its round shapes and great resistance, particularly ideal for refined finishes and sophisticated design;
stainless steel: the top choice when it comes to high standards for sanitation. A material of the highest quality that provides maximum hygiene, versatility and resistance to impact, scratches and chemicals.

Selection criteria of materials for hospital trolleys

Simply put: what makes us go for a specific material? We have summarized some selection criteria for hospital carts that take into account the specific needs of the healthcare environment.

Hygiene and cleaning: materials must meet strict safety and hygiene standards, such as compatibility with hospital detergents and resistance to frequent sterilization.
